According to a report published in the British tabloid Daily Mail (it is pointed to be noted though that their reports have been known to contain little accuracy), Chelsea manager Frank Lampard seemed to be frustrated with two of his senior players during the team meeting conducted last month.
It is being reported that Chelsea boos wanted these senior players to take responsibility after we suffered back to back losses last month.
Lampard reportedly asked the senior players to raise the level of their games and also guide the in the team. Daily Mail have specifically pointed out Willian and Pedro as the players who were at the centre of the conversation.
There is no denying though that this little talk has been very fruitful for both these players and the team as we are yet to lose a game after that and both Willian and Pedro have shown signs of improvement.
With Willian stepping up his game, Chelsea have won all their 4 past encounters. Chelsea manager had nothing but praise when he last spoke about Willian and pointed him out as the best player we have right now.
Chelsea are next in action against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge after the international break.
