Real Madrid have turned down the chance to sign Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Willian on a free.
The 31-year-old is currently running down his contract at Stamford Bridge and looks set to leave the club in the summer.
A number of clubs are understood to hold an interest in landing him for nothing, but one Real Madrid are not one of them.
According to Defensa Central, Willian was offered to the Spanish giants, but the move has been turned down by Zinedine Zidane.
The French boss already has a swathe of options available to him in wide positions, including Vinicius, Eden Hazard ans Rodrygo, and it is not thought to be a position they are interested in strengthening.
Willian has long been linked with a move to Real’s rivals Barcelona, with Mundo Deportivo suggesting a move to the Nou Camp is most likely for the wide man.
